A major addition this year to the annual Caistor in Bloom living flower town-display is a row of flower baskets which have been named ‘barrier-baskets’. They look almost like soldiers lined up, and according to Mike Galligan who was watering them this morning (June 24th), when they fully bloom in a couple of weeks time they will look amazing.
Shirley Cross stopped to have a chat with Mike, and then Neil wandered back with a bottle of the Arla B.O.B. (or is it ‘Bob the Builder’ milk from the Co-op)

I passed through yesterday on a bus journey and it took my breath away. The floral displays are stunning, it was like a vision of paradise! It’s evident that a lot of hard work has gone into it, well done to all involved.
