Takings at a Christmas Fair organised by the Friends of Caistor Primary School were just over £2000, the group said this week.

“There seemed to be more people this year and there was a great atmosphere,” said chairman Deryn Conlin. “Thanks to everyone who made it a great night.”

The Friends had received help with raffle prizes from many businesses including Parkway Cinemas, Grimsby Town FC, Lincoln City FC, Hall Farm Park, Rand Farm Park, and Elsham Hall.

In the past, the Friends have helped to fund Ipads, a projector for the school hall and contributing towards new playground equipment.

The group is currently planning a music night for adults on Friday, March 13.
