Advice to would-be councillors

If you are thinking of standing in one of the elections in May, then you might be interested in joining a briefing being hosted by West Lindsey District Council.

The presentation will give key events and dates, go through the timetable, and give advice on the completion of nomination papers, postal vote arrangements, the verification and count, campaigning and polling day itself.

The free event, on Monday, February 9, at the Guildhall in Gainsborough will also be open to any other interested parties. It will start in the council chamber at 6.30pm.
