December 14th 2021: Great fun at The Rock cafe Christmas Lunch
The Rock Foundation, which occupies what was once the famous Fleece Inn long ago held their Christmas lunch for their regulars this lunch time.
The staff all dressed up, and cooked a fabulous 3 course Christmas Lunch, which was expertly delivered to the tables by three men in snazzy suits. A large group from the Caistor Lions attended, and an even bigger group from a Grimsby Luncheon group too, plus lots of regulars, including three friends, who live in New Waltham, Lincoln and Nettleton, and who use the Rock Cafe to meet up.
As they cooked, the staff also fulfilled take away orders, which was impressive. There was a raffle, and before I left I popped in to see their terrific gift shop, which is open to all.
