What do Caistor Councillors get upto on a Saturday Morning?

8.45am Saturday Morning, its Cllr Jayne Bowman, but what is she upto

As I wandered to the Parish Church to Santa’s Breakfast I saw another red hat bobbing about, but this one was being steered by Cllr Jayne Bowman, who last weekend was organising the Caistor Volunteers as they prepared for the Christmas tree light switch on. Jayne wandered over for a chat about the new barrier outside the flats in Horsemarket before heading back to join Neil with her spade, they had both been spreading salt on the icy market square before tackling the drain

This had been the scene at the same spot on the 31st October this year after a heavy downpour of rain, when with the drain blocked with sludge, the water could not drain away

Earlier on this week I stopped to photogrpah another councillor, on that occassion Cllr Michael Galligan, who ahd stopped to chat to Paul and Michael from Gainsborough who had spent a couple of days in Caistor replacing the barrier outside the flats
