A new flag for the 2nd Caistor Brownies was dedicated at the Mothering Sunday Service at Caistor Parish Church on Sunday.

The flag was paid for by Lincolnshire Co-op’s Community Champions Fund.

Inspiration for the new flag came from November’s Remembrance Day Parade, marking 100 years since the start of the First World War. One feature of the flag is that it will be easier to keep clean.

Jessica Wall was flag-bearer during Sunday’s service. Mothers in the congregation were presented with a posy of daffodils during the service.
