Christmas tree recycling

Information supplied by Alan Caine.

A free, one-off Christmas tree recycling service will be held at Caistor Market Place on Sunday morning (January 10, 2016).

People are welcome to bring their small festive trees before noon, where a team from West Lindsey District Council will help dispose of them. No trees will be accepted after 12 noon.

A team of hardy volunteers are also expected to dismantle the big tree in the Market Place between 8am and 1pm. There may also be some slight disruption on Saturday afternoon while the lights are being taken down.

Motorists are requested not to park overnight on Saturday/Sunday between the former Nat West Bank building and the Post Office, nor in the zone between the lion statue and the former Co-op, to allow enough space for the volunteers to use their equipment.
