Harvest Festival Service

Caistor Parish Church was busy yesterday morning (Sunday, October 4, 2015) during its Harvest Festival Service.

Brownies and other children were given special roles, and children from the Sunday Club dressed up and acted out the story of The Prodigal Son.

A hamper was presented to Phyllis Hollings and her brother Robert, as a mark of recognition for all their work for the church.

Donations of food were collected for the Salvation Army in Grimsby.

People were invited to stay for refreshments after the service.

The Church is seeking volunteers to help dust the organ pipes on Friday from 2pm. Dust had got into the pipes following some recent repairs to the ceiling.

I have heard about Caistor Citizen but not looked , thank you for a wonderful way of promoting our Caistor. and helping to show that the 50 out of 50 community involvement(judging comment C.I.B) is justified.
